I only had 15 minutes to draw something because they were about to close,
so I found this wood carving and started drawing. Having only a limited
time to draw forced me to get "loose", which I like.

A Whole New Mind-Review
I liked many of Daniel Pink's
thoughts in this book. He
touched on many concepts
that he found interesting,
and generally translated his
findings to his reader in
simple and understandable
thoughts. The Portfolio
sections were best, where he
opened up my world to new ways
of thinking about making art,
and dedicating an art piece or
performance "to" someone.
A good book to give an "artistic"
person, to help them expand
their knowledge
of the creative process.

Burr Elementary School ART SHOW
These are a few pictures I took from an amazing Art show at the Burr Elementary School in Newton, MA. The students work independently, and sometimes in collaboration, on their own projects that "they choose to create". It's a TAB cirriculum that allows the students to "choose" their own project and to ask for help only when they get stuck on something. The work proves to me that this type of teaching style "really works".
